​Revel Spirits, renowned for its innovative Avila agave spirits, recently featured on Fox 5 to showcase two distinguished products: El Popo Avila and Revel 88.​

El Popo Avila: Crafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave hand-harvested at the base of the Popocatépetl volcano in Morelos, Mexico—locally known as “El Popo”—this spirit undergoes traditional roasting methods using local oak and volcanic rock, imparting a distinctive smoky flavor. El Popo Avila was honored with a Gold Medal at the 2022 Bartender Spirits Awards, scoring 91 points for its notable agave aroma and a palate hinting at barbecue, culminating in a long, lingering finish. ​

Revel 88: To craft Revel 88, we use 100% blue Weber agave grown in rich volcanic soil, fertilizing the land with essential nutrients and minerals. After hand-harvesting the agave, we steam and smoke the piñas with local roble (oak wood) and volcanic rock. Revel 88 is double-distilled to retain the agave’s nuanced flavors, featuring the terroir’s unique natural feel.
